About Dr. Osigwe

Hi there, I’m Dr. Ijeoma Osigwe! I am a clinical psychologist who specializes in working with children, teens, and young adults (ages 5-25 years) with ADHD and Anxiety Disorders. I am licensed in the state of Ohio (License #P.08212), and I am based in Columbus.

I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Temple University. At Temple, I conducted research on effective parenting practices for children with ADHD and disruptive behavior disorders. Additionally, I learned how to provide evidence-based therapy and conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations under the supervision of licensed psychologists at many leading children’s hospitals, including Nationwide Children’s Hospital (Columbus, OH), Texas Children’s Hospital (Houston, TX) and Nemours Children’s Hospital (Wilmington, DE). In these roles, I gained extensive experience working with children, teens, and adults with ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, OCD, Depressive Disorders, Learning Disorders, and more.

Before starting my own practice, I served as a Licensed Psychologist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. In this role, I provided individual therapy for children and teens, lead parenting skills groups, conducted psychological testing (e.g., ADHD, Learning Disorders, Intellectual Disability, Mood and Anxiety Disorders), and supervised Psychology trainees; I also served as a contributor to the Kid’s Mental Health Foundation. Before becoming a psychologist, I earned a bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University.

Outside of work, I love traveling, cycling, live music, trying out new restaurants, and spending time with my family.

Thank you for stopping by to learn a bit about me; I look forward to the opportunity to work together!
